Arto Saari built his name on a skate style so effortless it hid how hard the tricks were earned. It carried him from contest wins in Finland and across Europe to Los Angeles, where Thrasher named him Skater of the Year in 2001. This film finds him somewhere else entirely: talking through a photographic practice he has pursued in the years since, as he prepares for the largest gallery show of his career.
